"When we first got engaged, I knew that I wanted an earthy, relaxed, natural and something a little different from everyone else's. I just couldn't figure out how to do that. I had so many ideas, some eclectic, some earthy, some vintage. I was trying to combine them all but it just looked so off and wasn't matching up. Through all of those ideas one thing was similar with all, I wanted succulents somewhere on the table. So my mom and I just started collecting things that we thought we might use, and we happened to stumble upon some concrete pots that we both loved. So as my ideas kept changing my mom and I said lets just plant some succulents in these and use them at home at least. So after we did that we loved them. Everyone who saw them thought they were so cool and different. So after a long frustrating couple of months I finally decided that thats what I wanted on every table. So we were able to collect all of these cool pots, that we were able to do ourselves and able to give away and keep at the end of the wedding. I was scared to do a DIY wedding, especially because I thought that flowers were so important and was at the top of my priority list. But doing it ourselves, we were able to see exactly what we were going to get, and what we could add or change. We loved it, and it was perfect, and exactly what I wanted. I couldn't wait for people to see them. Our florist was able to tie in our bouquets and boutineers perfectly and was able to give each table a unique arrangement different from each other."
